Making the Shot: Beware of Obstruction & Let Mother Nature Help You "Pick a Spot"

On this episode of MAKING THE SHOT, John Dudley of Nock On Archery is on the TAC range in Seven Springs, Pennsylvania at target 15 featuring the mini elk. This shot has several overhanging obstructions to be aware of with arrow flight, a slight slope so maintaining a level bubble is critical and some tricky footing to deal with. It’s a 48-yard shot, and as you will see in the video, Dudley picked a fern sitting in front of the target as a reference point to the scoring ring. This shot is a great reminder to be aware of all those potential obstructions to the flight path of your arrow and to use mother nature to help you “pick a spot”.
