Season 4: Power of 4! - Practice Day 5
As I ramp up my training I will now add in another arrow to my practice ends. 4 arrows per end! This may seem minor but for me it was always critical to over prepare my stamina. Normally this time of year I would be focusing on Vegas rounds (3×10) However, what I found was by adding 4 to the training it allowed for me to still have a strong shot in the tank even when I may need to let down to reset a shot during one of my ends and still draw back that extra time with perfect stamina to land the 3rd arrow in accurately. Essentially we’re training for reserve parachute to have. This was always a big step for the second half of the first month because the front shoulder is rarely ready for it. This is such a critical added move. Homework for this week is adding an extra arrow to your ends. If you feel comfortable with that already then add 4 more ends to your round! Good luck!
