We’re 12 weeks into this year’s School of Nock, and we’ve hit midterms. This week’s lesson ties right into what we covered on Motivation Monday. Your homework: go back, review every week, and grade yourself honestly. THIS IS A SELF EXAM & I WANT YOUR FEEDBACK!
Your Midterm Homework
Go back to week one and review every single lesson through week 12. Don’t skip around, and don’t skim.
Once you’ve gone through all 12 weeks, grade yourself on each one. Note which weeks you showed up and put in the work. Identify the weeks where you fell short, and be real about the weeks you flat-out ditched class.
If you missed a week, go back through that content and catch up. Then give yourself a score across all 12 weeks.
Self assessment is critical in School of Nock. Just imagine I’m there with you assessing your work and grade yourself accordingly.
Give Me a Homework Assignment
I want you to flip the script and give me some homework. We’ve got another quarter to go before hunting season, and I want your input on what we cover next.
Email [email protected] and put “School of Nock Request” in the subject line. Tell me what you want to hear, and what we need to add to the class so the next quarter sets you up heading into the fall.
Each week, I’m going to pick from your submissions. If we end up using your topic, you might get a signed piece from Dud as a thank-you.
Turkey Season and What’s Ahead
Get your turkey bows ready. I’ve been out tuning up my Hoyt Carbon RX-10, even if one of my practice arrows didn’t exactly cooperate. That’s part of it. I can still get an “A” even though I didn’t score 100% today. PROGRESS WAS MADE THIS QUARTER! Bottom line – We all have to keep doing our homework.
We’re about to move into outdoor season. TAC is coming up, and the next three months of class are going to be loaded. Raise the bar on your practice and I’ll see you there.
