My Arrow Rest Mod For Flawless Arrow Flight

Also keep in mind if you are a “silenced arrow rest” kind of archer, you need to consider the tolerances once you quiet the rest. For those of you crossover archers who are hunters but trying to polish your accuracy at summer events, here’s the small details that actually show up on long range shoot-offs. I wanted to show a small modification I did to my QAD rest to allow the launcher to perfectly match my arrow shaft diameter. This eliminates a small variance in the V of the launcher arm on my QAD rest for an identical fit. Keep in mind this rest is not the aluminum launcher version so this melt hack works on the non metal launch arms. Keep in mind many arrow rest have to be made to fit a wide variety of arrows so this just allows for a super precise fit. This same mentality can be used on any arrow rest especially lower quality brands or models! Remember Slop = Slop! Some low end arrow rest will be mush worse.
