What is “LOCKTIME” and how it AFFECTS ACCURACY?
When it comes to compound bows there’s lots to think about with how your bows cam design can affect your accuracy. The term that I talk about in this video is “locktime” which is fractions of a second when the release or your fingers let go of the string and how long it takes for the arrow to pass through the bow system. For my personal set ups this is relative to only about 18,000 of a second, however that moment which is faster than a blink of an eye gives you a lot of time to make technique mistakes that instantly show up down range. Learning to repeat what you do during that blink of an eye is one of the secrets to being the best on the range.
